Who to Hire Toolkit
Your guide to figuring out exactly who you need in your business
Start Here:
Thank you so much for signing up for the Who to Hire Toolkit.
We started our Hire, Train, Delegate service three years ago, and this is the EXACT method we've always used to figure out exactly who our clients need. Our first hires are still with the same businesses today, so trust me when I say this works!
Figuring out who to hire is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
STEP #1 - Track Your Time
STEP #2 - Complete our Love, Hate, Delegate Sheet
STEP #3 - Check the VA SuperPower PDF to see exactly who you need
(Don't worry about navigating away from this page, it will all be in the follow-up email as well.)

"Erin is truly a Virtual Team Expert. She has a knack for helping organizations strengthen their capabilities via streamlining processes and helping with staffing. My business has flourished as a result of her skillset and passion in helping businesses to scale." - Peter J
Step #1 - Track Your Time
I know, I know. No one wants to track their time, and trust me when I say I get it!
This is a SUPER important step because it becomes the basis of everything we do throughout this program. From this time tracking sheet, we'll decide who to hire, build your training plan, and create your SOPs.
You can use any tool to track your time, but Toggl is my favorite. It's easy to use and free. Be sure to install the extension on your browser.

As you track, remember it's not about perfection. Please do your best; missing a few tasks is okay. Please try to be as detailed as possible and track for at least a week. At the end of this week, you'll complete the Love, Hate, Delegate sheet listed in Step #2 below.

Step #2 - Complete the Love, Hate, Delegate Sheet
When your time tracking is complete, you can copy & complete theLove, Hate, Delegate Sheet. This shows you the tasks you most need to outsource in your business.
Pro Tip: You can also use these tasks to create your SOPs and training programs so you're ready for your new hires!
You can see aquick walkthrough of it in the video here.
Step #3 - The VA Super Power PDF
Now that you've finished your Love, Hate, Delegate sheet, you're well on your way!
The next step is to tally up the items that CAN be delegated that are eating up most of your time. Look for patterns here. We've categorized tasks in our VA SuperPower PDF so you can see exactly what each type of Virtual Assistant can do. We generally pick the top 2 categories and hire someone who meets those skill sets.
I will tell you that the most common tasks we see that need outsourced are general admin tasks and marketing assistant tasks. These can quickly eat up the majority of a business owner's week.

Still not sure who you need or have other questions about bringing on help in your business?Book a quick Hiring Chat and I'll help you out!
Nope, Nope, Nope! In fact, this is one of the things I see holding business owners back the most. You're running a business, how on earth are you supposed to have time to thoroughly document everything you do? Definitely cut yourself some slack here! Watch for a follow-up training in your email where I'll share my super simple SOP method with you. It allows you to bring on a new hire WITHOUT having your processes all in place.
